Lesson objective + Skill Check
The student identifies what the question is testing before seeing the correction.
A Business paper asks you to read the scenario, select the right framework, and build a justified recommendation the examiner can award marks for.
The full course route is visible below. Click any chapter to load the lesson, then move through the four-step sequence.

A syllabus tells you what can be examined. The paper decides how concepts are combined, which context matters, and what reasoning earns the mark.
Every detail in the scenario exists for a reason. The student must identify which facts are relevant to the question and use them to support the argument.
SWOT, PESTLE, Ansoff, Porter — knowing every framework is not enough. The student must select the one that fits the question and apply it precisely.
The examiner is looking for the student to connect theory to the specific business in the case. Names, figures, and circumstances from the extract must appear in the answer.
Evaluation means weighing both sides: what are the limitations, what depends on assumptions, and how significant is the effect in this particular context.
The conclusion should not repeat the arguments. It should weigh them, choose a position, and explain why — grounded in the evidence from the case.
Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of Company X expanding through a merger rather than organic growth. [12 marks]
"A merger is faster than organic growth and gives more market share."
A merger would give Company X immediate access to the target firm's distribution network and customer base, reducing the time to enter the new market. However, integration risks — including culture clashes and redundancies — could offset the speed advantage. Given Company X's limited management capacity noted in the case, organic growth may allow more controlled expansion despite being slower.
The better answer is not valuable because it is longer. It applies the theory to the specific business and weighs both sides.
It is not enough for this page to say "exam focused." Each claim below has a visible place inside the course.
The student identifies what the question is testing before seeing the correction.
The conditions are changed so the method cannot be memorised blindly.
The course shows what the first attempt missed and why the improved reasoning earns credit.
A misconception is named, tested again, and brought back later instead of disappearing inside "revise the chapter."

His course is built around a recurring problem: a student can identify the topic, recall the definition, and still lose the mark through weak application, missing evaluation, or a recommendation that restates instead of deciding.
Do not measure progress by videos completed. Measure it by how much Business thinking the student can apply without rescue.
Understand how organisations manage people, processes, and quality to meet their objectives.
Connect market research, pricing, promotion, and financial analysis into decisions the paper rewards.
Apply strategic frameworks to real business scenarios and justify recommendations with evidence.
I picked up A Level Business as a new subject in A2 and followed Alt's crash course and live sessions. Even though it was a totally new subject for me, I got a B overall.
I would not have gotten an A in Business and Psychology if it were not for Alt. Being a private student, having no tuitions at first, finding Alt Academy was truly a blessing.
A big thanks to Sir Yawer's lecture videos in the crash course. My concepts were cleared and for the first time in my life I never ended up falling asleep while gaining knowledge.
Wording above is from student messages previously published on Alt Academy pages. Permission scope is being rechecked.

The route is designed for independent study: teaching, chapter notes, Skill Checks, worksheets, revision resources, and past-paper support are connected in sequence. The student still has to attempt the work and return to mistakes.
Yes. The product route connects focused lessons with checks, notes, worksheets, questions, and corrections. Exact resource coverage can vary by chapter, so the course player should remain the source of truth.
Both cover one subject. Monthly is billed one month at a time and does not require a fixed sitting. Exam Pass is one payment for access through one named sitting.
When the student needs two or more of the included A Level subjects. It covers the full included set and can be selected as Monthly or a sitting-specific Exam Pass.
No. Matching recorded Business access is included in the Live plan. The cart deliberately keeps one plan at a time so the student is not charged twice.
The course includes dedicated case study practice. Students learn to extract relevant information from business scenarios, apply appropriate frameworks, and build justified recommendations the examiner can follow.
